❓ How do I reserve a container home?

You can place a fully transferable $100 deposit through our reservation page. This deposit locks in your pricing and holds your place in line. It’s valid for 5 years and can be applied to any future model—or transferred to someone else.

❓ What’s included in the base price?

Each home is delivered fully finished and move-in ready, and includes:

  • Full kitchen with cabinets, butcher block countertops, sink, microwave, and electric stove
  • Bathroom with toilet, vanity, shower, and ventless washer/dryer hookup
  • Bedroom area with space for a queen bed, desk, and closet nook
  • Living room with space for a couch and mounted TV
  • Recessed LED lighting, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and pine shiplap ceiling
  • HVAC mini-split system, 200-amp panel, and plumbing stub-outs
  • Exterior paint, lights, outlets, and hose bib
  • Built to New York State modular code and inspected by third-party agencies

❓ Can I customize my container home?

Yes! We offer multiple design and upgrade options, including:

  • Cabinet color
  • Flooring style
  • Interior paint color
  • Exterior paint color
  • Countertop material
  • Shower configuration
  • Optional hardwired Ethernet to desk, living room, and kitchen

❓ Can I finance the purchase?

Yes—we support several financing paths depending on your situation:

  • Standard mortgage financing for permanent installations
  • HELOCs (Home Equity Line of Credit) if you already own property
  • Construction loans for new builds
  • Commercial loan financing for Airbnb, rental, farm, or office use
  • RV or personal loans, depending on installation method

We can help connect you with lenders or advise on which option fits your use case best.

❓ How is the home delivered?

We offer two delivery methods:

  • Flatbed truck + crane or forklift: Your home is craned or lifted into place.
  • Tilt-bed trailer: In many cases, we can deliver using a tilt-bed trailer that slides the unit onto your site with no additional equipment or assistance required.

We’ll determine the best method based on your location and site conditions.

❓ Can I move the home later?

Yes! Our homes are designed to be portable. With proper equipment, they can be lifted and transported to a new location—whether as a permanent relocation or a short-term need.

❓ Is this a modular home, mobile home, or RV?

Your container home is built to New York State modular home standards and inspected by certified third-party inspectors. This means it's eligible for financing, insurance, and building permits just like a traditional home in NY.

However, you can also choose to install your unit as a temporary dwelling, RV, or ADU, depending on your local zoning laws and how the home is placed.

Modular permits for other states are available by request. Contact us to learn about options for your area.

❓ Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver across the contiguous United States. Shipping is quoted based on your location and discussed at the time of reservation or purchase.

❓ How long does it take to receive my home?

Typical production time is 8 to 12 weeks from the time your 50% build deposit is received. Customizations and delivery scheduling may slightly extend the timeline.

❓ What site prep is required?

We recommend a flat, level foundation such as:

  • Crushed gravel pad
  • Concrete piers
  • Slab or block foundation

You’ll also need access to utilities: electric, water, and sewer or septic. We’ll provide a site plan and utility connection layout to guide your installer.

❓ What’s your warranty?

Each unit includes a 1-year limited warranty on craftsmanship and materials. Appliances are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties. Extended protection plans are available upon request.

❓ Can I use this as an Airbnb or rental?

Absolutely. Our homes are perfect for use as short-term rentals, guest houses, vacation homes, or backyard ADUs. Many buyers use them for Airbnb, VRBO, Furnished Finder, or farm-stay lodging, and commercial financing is available to support this use.
